Question: Why am i so unlucky at poker?

Answer #1:
Keep playing. The more you play, the better you should get. 4000 hands is a drop in the bucket. I usually play between 5000 to 9000 hands on a video poker machine in a couple of hours. Just keep playing. Be patient. Play smart. You will get better.
Answer #2:
Suck outs happen to everyone.
The difference between winning players and losing players is that winning players STILL WIN, even though they get suck outs occasionally.
If you are losing still, then the truth is you are simply NOT as good as you think you are. Plain as that.
To put it a little more kind - if you continue to put your money into the pot when you have the best hand, you WILL be a winner. People that call with inferior hands are the bread and butter for profitable players. If you continue to come up short, it's because you often do NOT put your money in with the best of it. We easily remember the times we got sucked out on, but we quickly forget the times we called with 2nd best and lost AND we forget those times where WE were the one that did the suck out!
By the way - I am still trying to figure out what you mean by "the big 3". Looking at that picture, I am guessing you mean AA, KK, and QQ. My guess is you are trying to tell us that you are LOSING money with those 3 hands. If you are, then you probably don't understand the most important thing about those 3 hands. Aces, for example, are good for winning the small hands and LOSING the big hands. A good poker player won't let himself get into a situation very often where he loses a big hand with Aces. You are probably misplaying them.

Go to
Click Here and punch in your online poker screenname (may have to sign up to do this but it is 100% free). Click on the report card and it compares you to the top winners at the stakes you play. It tells you if you are playing too many hands, if you are not agressive enough, etc.. If you are a good player your stats should be good. This should give you a better idea if you are just getting unlucky. It is very possible to run bad for 4000 hands. Here are some articles which may help you as well:

Answer #4:
Poker takes a day to learn and a lifetime to master.
Answer #5:
4,000 isn't a large enough sample to be statistically relevant. Also, online poker plays much different from live poker if that is what you are used to. The games have gotten a lot tougher, with less fish. If you are losing with QQ+, you might be overplaying those hands in single raised pots. The best advice would be to check out some poker training videos and learn to play a tight-aggressive style.
Answer #6:
According to pokertableratings, you are in fact a decent player. So just hang in there, keep playing good poker and your luck will balance out.
