Question #1:
I need help in creating a Texas Hold Em game using C++?
Here is the actual question:
Your lab will generate a deck of shuffled card. Print the entire shuffled deck in three columns.
Skip some spaces, then print out the first 5 cards (we'll call this a 'hand').
Your code will then determine if the hand contains a pair, two pair, three of a kind, four of a kind, a full house (3 of a kind and 2 of a kind)
a flush (all 5 cards the same suit) or a straight (all 5 cards in consecutive order, ace may be 1 (lo) or 14 (hi)
Optional challenges:
Deal out two hands and see with one is higher.
Play '5 card draw' with one or two players.
Have multiple rounds in the game.
Allow betting
Play Texas Hold 'em against the computer
Question #2:
In poker, each player is dealt 5 cards from a standard 52 card deck. Write your final answers as a fraction.
a)What is the probability of obtaining two pairs, eights and fours? (A hand containing exactly two eights and two fours).
b)What is the probability of obtaining a straight from nine to five? (The cards nine, eight, seven, six and five, not all necessarily all in a single suit).

Question #4:
Things have changed!
I start every single morning with a breakfast of iron. Then I go to my laptop and delete every single piece of fan mail I have recieved within the night without even bothering to read them. The amount of daily fan mail is measured in googolplexes.Dont even start thinking how much that is. About 90% of the European population have my name tattooed somewhere on their skin.
I currently work as the general manager of a multi-national investment firm that deals mainly with funding research for neutron and fusion bombs egg xcetera. I have my own private jet and I use 100 pound bills as my toilet paper.Once I even used the original script of Shakespeare Macbeth as toilet paper.
In my spare time I am the justice given form. I put on a skin-tight moth costume and become Mothman, the dark crusader. I don't have many superpowers, but I have the Mothmobile - modified Talbot Horizon from the year 1884, a classic - and a young blonde sidekick who likes to dress in pantyhose and call me "sweetheart". My arch nemesis is called "The Poker" and his evil plots mostly center on cheating in online card games.
I have many talents. I possess a superior analytic intelligence and my knowledge about everything and all is beyond anything ever known to mankind before me. Compared to me, Einstein was a minor player, merely a pawn. He was dynamite but I am a tactical nuke. In fact I know the meaning of life.
I can also write great poetry. Wanna see?
You are a cretinous freak.
You're a crook and a sham and a sneak.
Unbelievably weak
You're a foul-smelling crumb,
A belligerent bum,
You're scruffy, pretentious dumb.
My father is Thor, the God of Thunder, and my mother is the Hive Queen from Aliens. That mentioned you might already know why I don't dig bullshit applications.

Question #6:
I have an idea for a type of poker tournament similar to the cashout tournaments on Full Tilt. In this tournament you buy in for say $5-$6 . Four of those dollars would go towards the prize pool and the other $1-$2 would be used to play with at the table. In this case blinds would start off at $.01/$.02. Like a tournament, blinds would increase every so often and there would be a certain number of players "in the money". Like a cash game however, the chips you have in front of you represent actual money. This means that you could leave the tournament at any time with the money you have in front of you and you would finish in the place where you left. Also at any point during the game you can rebuy to where you have at least 50 but no more than 100 times the big blind. When you rebuy however, you have to also add half of what you rebought for to the prizepool. For example, you rebuy $2 worth of chips plus $1 (half of your rebuy) towards the prizepool making the total you paid $3. So technically before you make the money, you could already leave the tournament with a profit. Do you think this version of a poker tournament would work?
Question #7:
You are dealt pocket aces and raise preflop to $15 and get three callers.
Flop is 10diamond 8spade 3spade.......You bet $30 and you are raised to $130 and the player is all in
Do you call or fold?
Question #8:
Ok so I'm 16 years old and I'm pretty smart. I love poker and have big dreams. I play once and a while with my family. So please don't tell me to start playing in tournaments because they wouldn't let me in. I'm willing to practice everyday and become the best. So how to I get good by myself. Also I play on poker stars and sometimes other websites but I feel like its not as real because I'm not In person. I'm looking for tips like how to memorize things and stuff. I'm decent but any poker player with a little skill thats not an idiot would take everything.
Question #9:
I played in a tournament and got beat out of one hand, it took a lot of my chips and from there on I could not dominate the table like I had been earlier. Finally I lost at the final table finishing 7th. I then went to a live game and won $45.00. ($3-6).
I had not played live like this in a while and made some mistakes. One was not realizing I had the straight until the cards were exposed because everyone checked. The other was that I had the nut flush and only called the river instead of raising it.
Another trap I got in was that I had 7-5 (big blind) and the flop was 7-5-4. The way this lady was calling I should have known she had the 3-6. Lost a lot on that hand. I used some strategy in the book, "The Book of Bluffs, How to Bluff and Win at Poker" I only read three bluffs that were rated easy and ended up wining those pots.
To help my tournament play I got the book, "Making the Final Table, no limit texas hold'em winning strategies for survivving and thriving" by Erick Lindgren. He states that, "players are misguided on what they're actually supposed to do when they enter tournament play...he states that, nearly all the top professionals have this mind set, "tournament poker is not about survival; tournament poker is about accumulating chips."
With some of his strategy, I was the big boss at my table until I got beat with this hand:
I had A J of diamonds, flop comes up D, D, S. I bet a $600 and she calls. Turn does not help me, The diamond Queen gives her the boat. It could have been any other diamond and I win the pot.
Am I getting better? I climbed my way back to another $2,000 going into the final table with $3,000 in chips. Blinds were $400-800 and I essentially got blinded out.
How do I improve?
